"For you!"

A rest, in Insa-dong.

Workers repairing the street in Insa-dong. No leaning on shovels in Korea! They work hard!

This monk came along and started talking to me in broken English. He was very emphatic about two things: 1. I was Jesus 2. He loved me. Pictures ensued, camera straps got in the way... and a great time was had by all.

An outdoor tea shop in Insa-dong, the artsy area.

In the streets of Myeong-dong.

When we were in Myeong-dong, Jo wsa awesome and arranged for my mom and dad to try on some traditional Korean clothing. Cool huh?

Mary and Aladdin... I mean, Mom and Dad?

One big happy Korean famil....hey wait a second... there's something wrong here...

Can't...quite...damn chopsticks!

Galbi, in Myeong-dong.

Mmmm. Lip-smacking good!

Open wide! Choo choo!

Your turn! By the way, that lettuce leaf is going IN, not coming OUT, if you were wondering. ;-)

Dinner with the family.

After the meal, in Myeong-Dong.

Namsan tower from way far away.

Namsan Tower, a la purple.

On the way to the tower.

Seoul, at night.

At the top of Namsan mountain, by a pretty jeongja.

The peak of the tower.

The base of the tower.

Seoul, at night.

Mom and Dad, with Seoul in the distance, from the top of Namsan mountain.

A romantic moment... "I'm the king of the world!!!!"...ahem.

Seoul, by night, a la blurry.

Seoul, by night.

Seoul Tower... as seen from the peasant's prefer-not-to-pay-8-bucks-per-person-to-go-to-the-top-after-having-already-paid-8-bucks-to-ride-the-cable-car-to-this-point viewpoint.

Seoul Tower

The Almighty N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Signal station at the top of Namsan.

I'll let you read for yourself. Keep in mind that you can click to enlarge any photo.

Mom and Dad, after a long, hard day of flights and sightseeing. Phew!

Typical buildings in Korea are plastered with signs.

Here is Migeum, the area of Bundang that I'm now living in. On this particular day, my family and I went to the Korean Folk Village.

Dad: "Nice jugs!"

Mom under a magnolia tree.

Mom and I... under a magnolia tree.

"It's going to take FOREVER to read all of these wish lists. Why can't they just be like everyone else and send them to the North Pole?"

A new meaning to "tie one on".

Where's Mom? I'm trying to find here, but all I see it totem poles... strange.

"Don't wanna be no beast of burden..."

What's that over there?

People playing the teetertotter game. I think it's funny that nobody who tries it can jump higher than about 2 inches.

Sitting down for the Farmer's Dance at the outdoor amphitheatre.

Dad, playing an arrow tossing game. He did really well for his first try. He TOTALLY hit the little kid square in the head. It was AWESOME!

Smile!
